Webb K. Melder is a graduate of Montgomery High School, ’67, and Sam Houston State University, ‘ 71, with a BBA Degree, and a member of ATO Fraternity. Mayor Melder has been in the real estate/construction business for over 34 years. He has been married to Beverley L. Guinn for 35 years and they have two children, son, Tracy L. Melder, and daughter, Courtney L. Melder Edmiston.

- Founding Chairman of the Montgomery County 100 Club (1976)
- Currently serving as Director of The 100 Club
- Lifetime member of the Friends of Conroe and Montgomery County Fair Association
