Conroe native serves sixth term
Judge Alan Sadler is serving his sixth four-year term. He is a Conroe, Texas native who graduated from Conroe High School in 1967, attended the University of Texas-Austin and received a B.B.A. in Finance and then worked as an executive in the banking business in Houston for 12 years before becoming county judge. Judge Sadler is the operational CEO of a county with an estimated 469,000 residents and a county government with a work force of 2,000 plus employees and a $235 million annual budget. He focuses on budgeting, management and strategic planning issues.
