Mr. Dean Bass, Chairman and CEO of ST Financial Group, Inc. and Spirit of Texas Bank is a successful banker over 35 years of his professional career. His commitment to preserving the proud heritage of Texas truly reflects the spirit of Texas. His wife Sara is a decedent of prominent Texian family and freedom fighters with the Republic of Texas Army in Montgomery County. The Bass family’s commitment to pride and traditions of Texas are evident in the ambiance of their home and the bank.
Mr. Bass entered the banking world as a National Bank Examiner for the office of Comptroller of the Currency in 1975 through 1979. Since then Mr. Bass served in bank officer positions ranging from a teller to President and Chairman of the Board. From 2001 to 2007 he served as a Chairman/President and CEO of the Royal Oaks Bank. Mr. Bass holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Abilene Christian University.
Over the years Dean and Sara Bass have endorsed and supported numerous worthy causes of civic, religious, cultural and humanitarian nature to give back to the society and to protect and preserve the pride and freedom of Texans and Americans.
